Gun Safety Classes at The Independence Institute
The Shooting With A Purpose team is proud to partner with Colorado's premiere Conservative Free Market think tank, The Independence Institute, to offer gun safety training in the Denver area! All of these classes will satisfy the education requirement for Colorado's Concealed Carry program. We will be offering the following classes over the summer and Fall of 2014:
- Colorado Concealed Carry. Classroom work will be scheduled at The Independence Institute. The tuition for this class is $95.00
- NRA Basic Pistol. Classroom work will be scheduled at the Independence Institute building, and the shooting portion of the class will be held Sunday August 24th at Ben Lomond Gun Club. The tuition for this class is $95.00.
- NRA Basics of Personal Protection, Inside the Home. This class will be scheduled at a future date. The special tuition pricing for this class is $125.00.
- NRA Basics of Personal Protection, Outside the Home. This class will be scheduled at a future date. The special tuition pricing for this class will be $125.00.
These class times are subject to changes. The classroom work is performed at the Independence Institute's building located at 727 E. 16th Avenue, Denver, Colorado 80203. Please enter the door at the north side of the building. Parking is available on the west side of the building marked "Independence Institute". The practical shooting exercises are performed at The Ben Lomond Gun Club, 23195 County Road 105, Ramah, Colorado 80832.

Tuition includes: all course materials, instruction, testing, range fees, and range targets. Students must provide their own firearm, magazines or speedloaders, holster, ammunition, eye and hearing protection, and water for hydration.
